INGREDIENT DID-YOU-KNOW — MISO
Miso (MEE-so) is sometimes called bean paste and is a basic flavoring in much of Japanese cooking. It has the consistency of peanut butter and is created from a mixture of soybeans, sea salt and rice koi and then fermented. The flavors are rich and salty, and is also high in protein plus vitamins and minerals.
